Lake Titicaca – the highest navigable lake in the world

After spending two days at the Bolivian Side of Lake Titicaca at Copacabana I decided to go to the Peruvian side to the town of Puno.

Before I heard that that Bolivian side of the lake should be nicer, but as it was raining most of the time and I got the worst accomodation ever (windy, cold and water coming in the room), I wanted to leave that place as soon as possible. Escaping the floods – flight to La Paz

So there was me, Tjerk, a guy from the Netherlands, Peter, a guy from Australia and Niamh, a girl form Ireland, heading to the bus station in La Serena on Sunday. Six hours later we arrived in Santiago and checked in in our hostel. In the evening we went for dinner to the „Party-Neighbourhood“ Bellavista.
