Warsaw
After some hours on the train without having slept much, I arrived on Thursday afternoon in the capital of Poland. Did some sightseeing, learned that a “normal” beer is served as 1 litre (which I like for €3.50) and just walked around in the city. Had a quiet night in the hostel and on Friday I was just wondering why there was so much going on in the city. Then I realized, that it was 9th of May, so called Victory Day. One of the most important days in ex-socialist countries as there was the victory against Nazi-Germany in 1945.
Goodbye Austria
After some weeks preparation and some months of having this idea, I left Salzburg last Wednesday to Vienna. Originally I would have planned to go via Ukraine, but due to the political situation, I decided to go via Poland and Belarus. Continue reading Goodbye Austria
