Arriving in La Paz, Tjerk, Niamh and me took a taxi with another guy from the airport in El Alto to the city center of La Paz. Tjerk and me shared a room, the others went to different hostels.
In the evening we went to the city center and in one of the restaurants, we found lama steak on the menu and tried it. It was very good.
The next day, we spent mainly with walking around in the city and I was thinking of what I should do now the next days. In the city itself there wasn‘t too much to see. So we went in the Coca Museum, which gave us some information about the origin of Cocaine. Afterwards we took a cable car, which was produced by Doppelmair (who else?) to El Alto, the upper part of the city. We wanted to get some good views, but unfortunately the weather was very cloudy and rainy. After that I went back to hostel and did some stuff on the Internet.
In the evening I still didn‘t know, what I should do the next day, so I decided to do it in the morning. The next morning I made the decision, that if I could get a ticket for the nightbus to Sucre, I would leave. 30 minutes later I came back from the bus station with a ticket for the evening. The day we spent with visiting the witch market, where they had several strange products for different human problems and also unborn, dried fetuses of Lama.
After an early dinner, where we tried Pique Macho, one of the bolivian national dishes, the first time, I went around 7pm to the bus station to get my bus to Sucre.
