Valparaiso – the city of street art

After two days in Santiago I was glad to get out of the city and being in a smaller city at the sea again.

In the late afternoon I arrived in Valparaiso from Santiago. At the bus terminal I went to the Tourist Information to get the directions to my hostel. As the directions using local buses were quite confusing, I decided to do the 30minute walk to the city center.
After climbing up a hill, I arrived at my hostel. Right after putting my luggage into my room, I went down to the harbour and had an ice cream.
The next morning I went up Cerro Artelleria to get some great views over Valparaiso bay and the city itself. In the afternoon I joined a free walking tour through the city, where I got some good information about Valparaiso. My last day in Valpo I spent with taking lots of pictures of the different graffities and I visited La Sebastiana, the Valparaiso house of Pablo Neruda.
As the next day was a Saturday, I decided to go back to Santiago and see a football game.
