Santiago – Part 2

Being back in Santiago the second time, I made a reservation for a (more quiet) hostel prior to my arrival.

Colo Colo, one of the two big football clubs, was playing this evening. So I went to the stadium and wanted to buy some tickets there. Soon it turned out, that in Chile no tickets were on sale on the match day. I got some offers on the blackmarket, but all of them were too expensive and so I decided to go back to the hostel. The evening I spent with updating my blog and checking if there were any other football games going on on Sunday. I found Universidade playing CD Palestino and it was possible to buy tickets online.
Kickoff on Sunday was alread at 12 midday and so I left the hostel after breakfast. After a short ride on the metro and a 15 minute walk I arrived at the stadium. Around the stadium there was a market going on, where I had a look. Some security controls later I found my sector and watched the game. Universidade won 3:1 . More about this game can be found soon on www.axxa-viola.at
The next 2 days I spent mainly with updating my blog and hanging around in the hostel and planning my next days…
