heading into Asia

This time the journey on the train was much less exciting than the one to Nizhny.

We found the right platform and jumped on the right train. This time it was the first time to spend a night in one of those famous 3rd class compartments (platzkartny) together with 54 other people.

Next to us was sitting a girl, who spoke some english and also italian. She told us that she has been in Moscow for a Justin “he is still alive” Timberlake concert and now returning to her hometown Perm in the middle of the Ural mountains. The next afternoon we arrived after a quite night in Ekaterinburg, after passing the European/Asian border. So for me it was the first time in Asia, but out in the city, there was not much which could distinguish it from any other european city
